Our Teaching Philosophy
Love, patience, kindness, hope, perseverance – these are the words we live by, in our family and our work. A student first needs a caring human being, then she needs a teacher. Our students feel at home, supported and cared for, through our experienced instruction. With two decades of experience, helping violinists and violists of all ages, we have the tools to bring the best out of each individual. Our students participate in two recitals per year, get ensemble playing opportunities, and discounted college consulting for their music supplement. Dr. Valchinov combines the strength of the traditional Russian school with the best contemporary methods. Dr. Lin emphasizes discipline and hard work through an analytical and personalized approach. Together we possess unique strength, which we pass on without self-seeking.
